Initial Setup
On a mobile device, please download the Nautilus Phone app from the App Store. The Nautilus Phone app is free of charge.
Follow the steps below to add an account manually:
1. Once installed, open the app. Fill out the Username, Password, and Domain provided by the Nautilus team.
2. Tap "Login." After logging in, you'll be taken to your mobile app's main page.
In-app Permissions
After logging into the app, it will ask permission to access your location, your photos, your camera, and your microphone.
Allow access to your phone's contacts and microphone only. Everything else you can disregard.
*Moreover, it is important that you never kill the app. In other words, keep the app running in the background to allow normal phone processes (incoming calls, etc).*
How to make an outbound call
Once logged in and having turned on the necessary permissions, you can now start calling contacts on your mobile application.
1. From the main page, you can key in the number you want to call on the "Enter Number" portion of the screen.
2. To make a phone call, press the green dial button.
3. A successful dial will open up the following page.
How to transfer a call
1. To transfer a call, simply initiate the call and press the red transfer button. See the image below for reference.
2. Enter the number you wish to transfer the call to, and press the green button to confirm the transfer. A popup message will indicate that the call was successfully transferred.
Checking Voicemail
The Nautilus Phone mobile application also offers users the ability to manage their voicemail.
1. To access your voicemail, open the mobile app and go to the main page. Dial *97 and press the green button to initiate.
2. Once keyed in, a voice prompt will offer you options regarding playback, folder access, and overall voicemail management. Press the red button for more options.
